Mag swap: Bersa & Sig P232 380's

Local store had a Bersa 380 mag in the store today. It looks VERY much like the mag for my Sig P232.

Anybody know if Bersa just copied the Sig P232 mag? Will the Bersa mag work in the P232?

If so, the Bersa's are 1/2 the price of the Sig mags.

I doubt they're interchangable. The two guns use different methods of latching the mag in the grip. I sold my Bersa years ago but if I recall; the followers are very different too.

CDNN sells Sig mags for $34...are Bersa mags that much cheaper?

Negative. The Bersa uses a button release, while the P230/2 uses a Euro heel release.

I had my hands on one for $19. It was worth asking about, but if it won't work, it won't work.

I had my hands on one for $19.

If was that price was a pro mag Factory Bersa mags about 26 for the 380 Thunder.
