Magazine storage

Any ideas how to store multiple magazines & speed loaders away from the firearm? I was thinking a parts bin for screws but I’m open to ideas.

Hmmmm, a tough question - let's see...
1. Plastic shopping bags
2. A kitchen drawer (like a normal person)
3. Ammo cans
4. Solid wood cabinet from the Victorian era
5. Some sort of plastic utensils in rectangular shape and suitable dimensions
6. A purpose built shelf
7. On the floor in the living room
8. Over the door shoe organizer
9. In the basement, in shoe boxes
10. Under the bed

Shooting bags keep a "at least one of each" handy (typically there are 2-3 in the pistol & rifle range bags--I hate leaving mags behind). Ammo cans and some bins have most of the rest.

Speedloaders typically rode in the hard case with the revolvers (again, so as to be hard to leave behind)

I use MTM Case-Gard ammo cans, and I store my mags in sets of four (one for in the gun, two for the mag pouch/pouches on the belt, and a spare for the set). I put the four in Ziplock sandwich bags and then in the ammo can. I have multiple sets of four.

JTQ beat me, but MTM Case-Gard ammo cans are my choice. They are easy to stack or store, have a carrying handle and are reasonably water/moisture resistant and keep out dust. (Living well inland, even the refrigerator collects dust inside.)
I have a bunch of GI ammo cans and they work, but they are too heavy; so I am replacing them as I go.
AND, MTM makes a 'little' one called "AC-15". About 9x5x7 inches, I like it for range trips and such. Useful for ammo or magazine storage. One can apply the self sticking labels without great ado.

I use the MTM cases to hold loaded mags. Unloaded mags just go into a stackable plastic container.

I have magnet strips (buy the ones for holding tools) mounted on my safe door and the mags stick to that (well, except for the glock and pmags )

How many is "multiple"? A plastic tote works well, depending what kind of mags and how many we're talking about.

I keep mine all mixed up in rubber made totes. One for rifle, 1 for handguns. When I need some mags for the range or whatever, I dump them on the floor and root through them to find the ones I want, then I shove the rest back in the tote. Life is too short to worry about such things.

I have a drawer in my workbench dedicate to magazines and speedloaders. Ended up using Plano 23715 storage containers without dividers. The beauty of them is they just the right size to fit in my Midway gun backpack. I can get 11 Glock G17 mags in one and about the same number of Sig 17 round ones. .38spl Comp-3 speed loaders fit nicely too. I get 8 of those plus 2 HKS in one container. Of course with 1911 and .22lr mags I can get a lot more in them.
