Had my new to me CZ52 out today and now have a major dilemma. I was shooting Romanian ammo and had the slide lock up tight. By tight, I mean it would move about a quarter of an inch. After much cussing and struggling I finally got the slide off of the frame.
Now I have a slide/barrel assembly with a live round in it and can't get it apart. All the while the corrosive primer salts are plotting against it's barrel.
What to do? Should I just take it back to AIM and see what they will do for me? I realize it is a surplus pistol and surplus ammo, but I do spend a good deal of money with them. The ammo came from them as well.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
