Was wandering @ Academy Sports and had the idea of installing a TruGlo front sight on my Mak.
Why not use a threaded TruGlo designed for replacing a shotgun bead?
Grind off the the original front blade.
Then drill and tap w/ the appropriate thread.
Would just have to take careful measurement to insure there would not be any protrusion of the stud through the slide and into the barrel.
looks like the it would be in just about the same plane as the original.
What do ya think?
Anyone else done this?
Do I have to be ginney-pig?
