Making a Vibrating Tumbler

I was wondering how hard it would be to make a vibrating tumbler. Lately my thing has been making stuff.

I figure a rotating tumbler woulnd't be too hard, but a motor a roller and a can.

just wondering how a vibrating tumbler worked and if it would be worth it to try an create one.

The motor has an off center weight attached to the shaft to give it the vibrating effect. I'm not sure what the rpm is but too low and it will not vibrate enough to really work well. Dillon uses some monster sized motors compared to most other manufacturors.

I figured it was an off center weight on the shaft because that how they make thingsl ike cell phones vibrate, but I figured I would ask, because I don't have one here to take part.

Case vibrator

In my 1977 Corbin Swaging catalog and how to instructions he has a picture of a sewing machine motor attached to the bottom of a hanging bucket and the motor has an offset bolt attached to the shaft that makes the bucket vibrate.

A top competitor friend used the same type of vibration on an oil drain pan to vibrate 38 cases into a tube feeding his Star reloader I sold him and it could be heard howling through out the house and he reloaded in his basement.
