This looks like a good all around gun. Is anyone able to give me info on these. Also are the barrels ported anymore? if not where can i get one that isn't?

Mine is my favorite gun!
You can load it with light powderpuff loads all the way up to real showstoppers.
It's small and quick handling, and fun to shoot as all get-go.

(I don't think you can get ported new anymore- mine's not... try online?).

I love my Guide Gun. Accurate, fast on target, handles recoil very well. The new ones are not ported.

Torpid: Where did you get that cuff???

I love my Stainless 1895. I bought it right before deer season and I'm very happy.

I took only one doe hunting with it but I'll be using it a lot more. Oh it's in .45-70.

I just put a scout scope and the ghost ring sights on it, have not been to the range since the install though.

And as mentioned, no ports any more.

Get the .45-70. the .450 is great if you're only going to use it for Alaskan moose and Kodiac bear.

The .45-70 can be loaded to levels that are more than adequate for elk and moose, but don't rip your shoulder off the way the .450 does.
