Marlin 336 extractor removal

I just got a replacement extractor for my Marlin 336 .30-30 rifle, and I am wondering how to remove the old extractor from the bolt and put on the new one. Anyone done this?

Open lever half way..
Unscrew lever screw
Pull out lever
remove bolt
Turn on side and shake ext loosw
Install new extractor and ressemble

What kind of extractor did ya get

Thats the ejector, I was doing the extractor. It is located on the side of the bolt. I finally got it off, though. Took some work.
