I have turned to the wisdom of those that have traveled this path so hopefully someone has a better answer than "send it in".

I have been to the range several times with my Marlin 22mag. First ammo I tried was the BVAC 40gr JSP, shoots pretty good at 100 yards, it ejected the first few but then became intermitent and finally will not eject period. I fugred maybe it was the ammo, so I tired three other brands Win, Federal, and CCI. Same problem, no ejection. Everyonce in a while if I flicked it just right it would lazily toss the spent casing out. I clean the rifle after every use and notice nothing out of the ordinary as far as I can tell.

Any infomation or ideas on how to remedy this problem would be greaty appreciated.

In order to eject, the extractor has to pull it out of the chamber, and then hold it tightly against the bolt face until it hits the ejector at the rear of the bolt stroke.

I'd clean the extractor, (or extractors if it has two) and the bolt face & breach face to make sure they are operating and not bound up or caked with powder fouling.
