With a little patience and a lot of filing it will hold 3 in the magazine and feeds decently I have a several hugo magnums I will post pics when its all done.. next one will defiantly be a k98k action.. I appreciate all the responses..

while its not cheap i do think its better to use cartridge specific bottom metal when doing magnums. my 375h&h holds 4 down, standard depth bottom metal. you can actually put in 5 and chamber the 5th round, for 5 down you got to go to a drop box.
here is a pic of the duane wiebe s.m.p. 375h&h bottom metal next to argentine 1909 bottom metal to see the size difference. $400 well spent.


another guy i know has taken smp drop box bottom metal and shortened it to fit a 350RM m48
