I own a short-action Zastava Mauser in .308 with a left hand bolt. I was curious if any of the stock companies make a synthetic stock for my rifle. I don't know if anyone else has had the issue of finding one, especially for a southpaw. Any advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated as I would like to replace the existing wood laminate thumbhole stock.

Don't just look at the websites, email them with your exact needs and be ready with measurements. Bargain or cheap will not apply to you rare stock requirement.

There is a guy named doc in WA state who built one for me for a weatherby. Google synthetic gun stocks. I had to send him the action but he did a great job. Sorry I cannot give you more information as it has been 5-6 years ago.

Thanks all for the info. Will have to look around and it'll have to wait until I get back stateside from deployment but now I have an idea to start on.
