Max case length for .50 BMG?

Does anyone know what the max case length is for the .50 BMG? I am not looking fo overall length, but the length of just the case.

A lot of the guides show 3.91,,,,,not sure if that is suggested length or max length. I resized some once fired MilSurp LC brass and am getting readings of 3.945 average. In the whole scheme of things, how far can one deviate from the 3.91? If I need to trim....no big deal...but if anyone could lend some advice on tools/tricks/tips. that would be wonderful!

Trim to length is 3.90, there are alot of companies out there that offer tools for the .50 BMG. K&M is one of the better companies for reloading tools for the .50, they don't have a website but are offered on some of the regular reloading tool sites.
