Hello all,
I just purchased an original M1A1 carbine stock, which as it turns out, is actually an original. All the markings are where they should be according to Bruce Canfields book, as well as all the identifying features (flush rivits, greenish/grey parkerizing, old walnut, cast #s in buttplate, etc. However, in trying to put a value on this thing, I can find NONE for sale on the internet to compare this too. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any help. I'm sorry if I put thi in the wrong forum, as I'm NOT looking to sell this item, just simply figure out what I've got.
I look forward to the usual "It's only worth $10.00, but I'll give ya $20.00 for it!" posts
