Just fired off 20 rounds of my first Missouri Bullet Co. 147gr lead flat point in a M&P Pro 9mm. Decided to try something new - last 1k were MBC 125gr LRN. No problems, just curious for something new. Realized after the 2k I ordered arrived that they better work, or I'd have 1,980 fishing line sinkers. So my Lee Auto Disc .32 threw about 4.9 +/- .1 of Accurate #5. Max load from 3 sources was 5.1, min 4.6, so this time I didn't bother working up multiples, since the Auto Disc .30 hole threw 4.5gr, which was below minimum... why bother? At the range, alternated 1st 4 with old batch of 115gr Rainier plated pushed by 3.8gr of Clays. 147's felt slightly softer, but, WAY BETTER accuracy! Only downside was the smokescreen they created (likely the lube). More smoke (by a fair amount) than the 125gr LRN. Went on to shoot 16 more, with no plated in-between. Leading was light, mid-barrel, and cleaned easily with 10 strokes of ChoreBoy & CLP.

I think this may be my new favorite! But may need to find a gas mask....

BTW - ordered from MBC, they shipped the same day, and arrived 2 days later! Amazing.

I love 5 grs of AA #5 in my Lyman 147gr RNFP cast bullet. Smoking is diffently the lube. I use BAC and smoking is minimal. No leading in my Nine's
