I ran accross their web page and found that they make shotgun to pistol/rifle cartridge barrel inserts. And it got me thinking a pair of their 18" 45-70 inserts in a double barrel 12ga. could make for a "poor mans" double rifle. Any expierences or thoughts on such. I am looking at buying a SxS 410 in the next few months and am interested in the 22RF and 22 Hornet inserts.

Pressures in a 12 gauge typically run under 10K; pressures in a 45-70 typically run, IIRC about 2-3X that - hope those inserts are good quality...............

Every couple months, i see this same question asked on forums...

Do they slide in and fire? Yes... BUT, forget about any kind of regulation of the two inserts, they WILL go bang though...
