Got a quick question. When measuring the length of a barrel on a single action revolver, where do you start? I mean do you start where the front of the barrel meets the cylinder and measure all the way to the end of the barrel?

Thanks

It can depends on why you are measuring it. Some manufacturers measure to the front of the cylinder or to the forcing cone. For hunting purposes, some states include the cylinder when determining barrel length. If it's to determine whether or not the gun is legal for hunting in your state, there should be a definition of how your state measures handgun barrels in the printed regulations.
