I am using Adobe Premiere Pro. Its professional video editing software that will do anything that you would want it to do. Probably the best one out there right now. Learning the basics is not very hard. If you want to get into the more advanced stuff there is a lot to learn. This is what they use for making TV shows and movies. Adobe does all of their software as a monthly subscription thing. You can get Premiere for about $20 per month. Or you can get all of their software for about $50 per month. Its worth it if you make use of it and learn how to use it.
FYI if you have a student in the family it’s worth asking if his/her school has a deal with Adobe to get the software at a discount.

What do y’all use for video editing? I made a channel but never uploaded vids because the editing proved a bit much for me right now.
i used to use filmora which i bought for $30 and downloaded to one computer. when I got a new computer a couple of yrs back i decided to buy adobe premier elements. if its biking or just connecting sequential clips of something, i still use go pro studio from an old download. RAM is the main thing. my old computer will freeze while editing.

I’ve been using light works. Mainly because it’s free but it’a a bit complex.

My YouTube channel is for my hang gliding, professional conference presentations, and occasionally other topics of interest. I have not and would not post any gun-related videos there. The Tweater-alternative free speech service Gab (which pre-dates Parler by several years) recently added GabTV, a video service, so it my be another alternative to Rumble, but you have to be a paid subscriber to upload.

For simple cut and paste I use Quicktime Player on my mac. For more detailed edits I use the free iMovie app.
