Mental anguish on .45ACP order.

I ordered some .45ACP ammo from MidwayUSA to replace some of my stock since I was shooting quite a bit breaking in my new Ruger SR45. The order was processed quickly and I received an e-mail with the UPS tracking number for my order. Watching the UPS web site, I followed my ammo leaving Earth City, Mo. and arrive in Hodgkins Il. I then saw my ammo depart Hodgkins, Il. and found myself with a feeling of relief that my ammo had left Illinois!! Must be a sign of the times!!!

Ammo is sent by UPS. UPS uses the railroads. Unfortunately, Chicago Illinois is the Mecca of the railroads in this country and I have to take trains there. I say unfortunately, because that means I end up there with some regularity. I hate that stinking pit of garbage. I always make sure I have on an NRA hat, Daniel Defense hat, or my Eotech hat. My grip is full of Camp Perry shirts and other gun shirts too.

Try owning a large amount of assault rifles here.

I look both ways before leaving the house. Afraid one of these days I'll have "an accident" driving to work.

In Hodgkins, IL there is a huge UPS sorting facility for the Midwest region.

Hodgkins is too close to Chicago! My package probably has Rahm's finger and nose prints all over it! Strange the things that pop into your mind during these trying times!!
