Merwin & Hulbert .32 cal revolver

Does anyone recall reading somewhere that those that chamber five rounds in the cylinder as chambered in .32 cal (.32 Short) are rare or uncommon? Such as one of these which sold earlier today.

Some on line references suggest such a configuration is unusual but I don’t recall reading this and, of course, they have a vested interest (one such revolver to peddle).
