MGW 307 Sight Pusher Question

Will a standard MGW 307 sight pusher work with a P320 slide?

It's not listed as one of the P series that works with this pusher so I would guess no. I remember reading in another forum some time back that the 365 will NOT work with this pusher.

The first generation MGW sight pushers for Sig Sauer were designed and mfg. long before the Sig P320 was offered in 2014. This early pusher does not even have their brand name or Model # laser etched on the sides as they eventually did. The 307 is misfit on two fronts; the slide shoe is too wide and too thick to fit in the slide rail mortises of the P320. I use the MGW Sight Pro for installing / adjusting P320 sights.

I believe that is code for "will you get off your fat ass and find out for me?"......interrupting nursing a martini and frank sinatra before dinner.
You will need to get a 3/8-24 fastener to secure the Pro-Sight P320 shoe into the #307 module, +/- washer or spacer for getting the correct height for the slide rails.

Brilliant !! That's the perfect solution. That’s exactly the info I need. I can pick up an SP133 slide shoe and make it work with this #307.

I wonder why MGW doesn’t offer adapters so shooters can use their #307 pushers with some of the newer pistols? I guess they feel it isn’t worthwhile. This was my question and the response I received from MGW support:

I have one of your MGW 307 sight tools for Sig pistols.
Do you make an adapter so I can use it for a Sig P320?

I am sorry but we do not have any adapters for that model to work on the smaller pistols. When we designed this for sig years back those models did not exist.

This is why we went to the universal designs because the manufacturers were adding models that would not fit existing tools too often.

I can’t say that I agree with that reasoning, but it’s their choice. I wonder how many #307 tools were made? Apparently, too few to justify making adapters for them.
