Among the places that we are not leagally allowed to carry is "An entertainment facility that the individual knows or should know has a seating capacity of 2,500 or more". Does any one know how this would be translated concerning a county fair?

There is a grandstand that would probably seat 4-5000, but it is only for special events that are not included with your paid admission to the fair, although it is in the middle of the fair grounds. Would this preclude you from being able to carry in the rest of the fair grounds? Does the fact that your admission to the fair allows you to go to the livestock barns and the midway atttractions, but not the special events, serve to segragate the fair grounds from the grand stand shows?

Thanks for any input.

Rick

I would avoid the grandstands and arena, but not the rest of the fairgrounds. If there's a beer tent I'd avoid that also.

I'm not a lawyer, but I did live in Michigan.

We thought he should stay here, too! :D

Enfield is right. Stay out of the grandstands and you'll be ok.

Thanks for the input. I figured that was the case, but I didn't want to be wrong. We took our grandson and had a grand time. My wife did give my a puzzled look when I opted to walk around the pavilion instead of the shorter route through it. She never saw me take the long way before! But when I told her that I thought it would seat more than 2500, she caught on quickly.

Thnaks again.

Rick
