I took the liberty of editing the caption of this photograph of Michael Moore on the wikipedia entry for the idiotic movie Bowling for Columbine.

"Michael Moore upon receiving his free gun at the bank - violating a major rule of gun safety by idly placing his finger on the trigger."

What a tool.

Good for you. It's the truth, why not include it?

I hate news stories on negligent discharges that phrase it as the gun's fault. I think news reporters should write about what actually happened (because that is their job, first of all) instead of writing about "guns that accidentally went off".

Hey Criminal Friend of mine, instead of buying an oozie outta my dealers trunk, I think I'd like to go risk exposing myself on camera at a bank for a free rifle, whadaya think?

Idiot.

I modified the text next to the image (not the caption) to mention the Gun Safety issue. Keep on top of this and eventually the change will stick.

So you've never dry fired a gun?

I don't know what happened before this image, but did he check that it was unloaded and is he pointing it in a safe direction?

If so, I don't see the problem.

I have dry fired a gun. But I always point it at a backstop (dirt or fireplace, not up in the air) that could catch a bullet, if I happened to make a mistake clearing the gun.
