It looks like weekdays aren't any good for anybody. Who would be able to make it to Peters this saturday afternoon?

Looks like theres interest in going to Family Corral in eaton rapids over on glocktalk. I've asked about the afternoon of july 24th, with the 25th as a backup. Would that work for the guys here?

if anyone in the Detroit area wants to carpool out there, let me know. I know it's not *that* far, but they cut our hours at work, and ye olde redneck truck is a bit of a gashog.

Im game for the 17th, Ill let you know about the 24th. Like I said my car is a local POS, but I am willing to toss someone a few bucks for carpooling.

I'm sure 'pooling with someone won't be hard, if there isn't anyone in your area I know there are a couple of us along the way. I don't have a problem going down to the area where 275 and 96 intersect. That would probably make a good meetup spot for carpooling.

I think range time is 8 bucks for an hour. They give you a few basic bullseye targets.

I'll be bringing two 9mms (glock 19/kahr mk9), a .32 (walther ppk), a .22 short, and a .45 (gov't 1911). You're all welcome to try any of them, just make sure to pick up the appropriate ammo before hand. There is a walmart across the street, I'll be stopping by there before I go to the range.

Does anyone going have a glock 30 I could try out?

man, that was a blast. (pun intended) it was great meeting all y'all. went through 400 rounds of ammo, and finally got to do reasonably rapid fire. everyone was cool as ice, and even hooter's was decent, which is shocking, to me. I do know now, from the burn on my thigh, that firing 6 mags in your 1911 rapid fire, then immediately loading and hostering is a *bad idea*. ouch. now we need to get those glocktalkers over here to the *real* gun board.




oh.. Ani was awesome, too.
