With a couple new entries to the market, assuming you don't already have one and are going to get one, which would you choose? Forgive me if I'm missing any.

The P290 is looking pretty sweet right. I already own a PT709 that I'm happy with, though, so I won't be buying another small polymer 9mm.

I am actually very interested in the P290 and the Boberg. I wound up voting for the P290, but the XR-9s is a very very close second. I'm excited because it is quite possibly the first true revolutionary gun that has come out for quite a while... assuming it actually does come out.

I didn't vote so as not to skew the results (I own the PF-9.) I'm kind of an "underdog" guy, so I do have a litle intrigue in the SCCY..
The Ruger's dimensions seem a little too close to those of my gun for too much money more.
Not familiar with the Boberg. The Sig and Kahr are too much dough for my blood..

Boberg

From what I have read on this forum, it's hard to beat the Kahrs, but I like the innovative spirit (and longer barrel) of the Boberg over all the rest. As someone else posted on another thread though, at this point it's a "vapor gun", and not available yet. I hope this gun makes it to market with no massive failures or recalls because I think it will be a winner.

I'm very interested in the Boberg. I like the quirky type of firearms and this fits the bill for me. It's also and improvement on the pocket 9mm design. If it works out which I'm hoping it will. I could change the need to use a .380 pistol if you are looking for easy pocket concealablity.

No idea on when I'll be able to get my hands on a Boberg though.

I wouldn't mind getting a Rohrbaugh. A gun shop a couple towns over is a dealer and I'm planning on heading over there this month to get my hands on one.

btw, why is the Taurus 709 not on the list? much, much better trigger than the kel-tec, "melted" edges for carry, soaks up recoil better than the kel-tec, comes with two mags.

18% of people like the Ruger LC9 best???

I dont think its even available yet. To the LC9 voters, how did you reach this decision?

Boberg is vaporware unless I missed an announcement. It is in many ways the most interesting but it is not even something one can consider for purchase.

The new ruger LC9 is the same size as a Kahr P9/CW9 save it is heavier and thus is not really a micro 9mm at all.

Probably the PM9 is the one that interests me. Better shooter, and far less finicky than the R9. It is small enough to be a micro 9 if that is what you are after. It is better workmanship than the Pf9 but of course commands a higher price.

To be fair I have no experience with the sig and must admit I know precious little about the sccy.

When the 709 came out I was fairly interested until I held I pulled out the PM9 and compared them against each other. The 709 was notably bigger looking at them side by side. The 709 might be my budget pick though.

I voted RUGER LC9 because if it is well made, and is at the rite price, it could be the best deal.

Out of curiosity what are you basing your assertion it is well made on? It seems to me it is new and very unproven.

If I buy another 9x19 it will be thirteen shot Armalite AR-24. I'm done with amateur grade kiddie stuff for good.

If you want something light & compact get Glock 26. They say second generation is the best of them. I would not worry about "5mm" dimensional differences.

The PM9 is definitely the choice for pocket carry over the 709 or PF-9. However, if you're going to IWB carry, it's hard to justify spending twice the price of the taurus on the PM9.

Boberg

I said that the Boberg was vaporware at this point in my post. That doesn't mean I can't consider it.

I am also interested in the Rhino .357 revolver, and I hear it's out but haven't been able to pick one up yet.

The LC9 interests me too, but it may be a little large for pocket carry.

As for the Rohrbough; I picked one up at a show last weekend; very nice, but I think the grip is actually too small for me.

I just recently bought a Kahr MK9 but id be interested in a PM9 if i found a used one for the right price.
The Sig P290 would be next since its size may make close to what i expect out of a micro 9mm. I loved my Sig P238 and why it gets bashed to death is beyond me, I just wished it was a 9mm. But i may try and find a used one but you don't see them often.

Im not a gun snob, At least i don't think so as my main 1911's both were under $550 each and my main CCW carry guns.
But if i want a small bug or pocket gun im not gonna buy based on price, I buy based on how its built and how its quality looks like.
I have nothing against Kel-tec, But you most likely will never see me own one.
The Ruger has more of a chance of me buying their product as i feel they do make a higher quality gun. But size of their LC9 is NOT what i want in a micro 9mm.

And i found the P3AT and LCP too small to have fun shooting as any gun i buy has to be shoot-able at the range.

But tbh none of the guns listed may be my next purchase, Im really interested in the Kahr PM45. Its amazing that gun even stays in one piece being so small.

Again no Walther PPS? Why is it that so many people leave it out of polls like this? Such a fine gun.
