Midway dropping "FFL dealer" pricing

Brownells' non-dealer pricing is not competitive with MidwayUSA (or most any other online parts-n-bits source).
Usually, you will see Midway have a slightly better price on a bunch of items. I have a dealer account with Brownells so that beats Midway's standard price most times but Midway never has what I want in stock. Brownells has an agreement with most or all manufacturers that they will get stuff in stock first and a manufacturer has to agree to take anything back for any reason.

With Brownells, I know for a fact that if I have an issue with anything I buy at anytime in the future, it will be handled for me in a reasonable time frame. They are the definition of customer service. No questions asked, guaranteed.

I have found Midway's shipping charges to be excessive and have stopped using them if someone else has what I need.

Are you guys factoring in shipping charges when you say Brownells isn't competitive with Midway? I find Brownells prices to be pretty much in line with other online retailers. Plus, they usually have what I need in stock and I can move my products faster because of it.

Well all I can say is that they are about an hour and a half away from me.....and I only use them if I have to.

I don't find Brownell's shipping to be any cheaper...if anything it is more expensive.

I always choose the cheapest shipping and I usually get orders from both in about the same amount of time.

Last items I got from Brownells...6 Pmags back in June
Shipping was $14.95

Last items I got from Midway...Caldwell Brass catcher and 2x FNP40 Mags
Shipping was $9.53

Both orders were within $8 of each other before shipping, and there is no way there was even a pound in weight difference.

Here is another one

AR-15 Receiver vice blocks from Brownell in April of 2012
$12.95 Shipping

3 packs of cleaning patches, 3 bottles of Wipe-Out bore cleaner, 1 bottle of wipe-out catalyst and 1 Wipe-out bore sealing spout January of 2012
$12.84 shipping

prices between those two were within $2 pre-shipping and I am pretty sure the order from Midway weighed more.

Looking back at all my other orders form the two with similar pre shipping prices and weights...Brownells usually ends up with higher shipping
