Midway usa / UPS / train derail

If you placed an order from Midway USA that shipped UPS, to a western state, in the last week.... you might wanna check your order tracking.

They had a train derail in Montana....and all of our UPS packages from Midway were on one of the cars that derailed.

Definitely not good. My son works for UPS and he tells me often as not when a train derails and a railcar overturns there's a real mess of damaged packages, and in the past they've frequently just brought bulldozers out and buried all the packages, then paid claims. He says that's much easier than trying to match merchandise up with broken packages.

Got a call from UPS and midway.

Thank the heavens, apparently I/we were misinformed- the cars that are derailed are not my/our car. Looks like the UPS freight cars are just stuck on the line.

Everything should be moving by monday.

What I can gather though is that if you are waiting on freight thats going west via montana....you might be delayed a bit (
