Might Taurus do a .410/.45 single action?

Wondering about this now that Taurus announced the Deputy single action at SHOT last week. Since it seems Taurus shifted Heritage away from the .357 and .45 revolvers, I think it's safe to say these were the Heritage Big Boy's but now made by Taurus which gets me to thinking that just before Taurus bought Heritage they were making a .410/.45 single action and Taurus could bring those back and give them a new name like the Bailiff.

If it does happen, what I'd like to see Taurus do is offer a spare .45 Colt only cylinder for the reason of having a proper throat diameter instead of the hugely oversize throats for the .410 chambers that lead the bore and also to reduce the jump of the bullet from chamber to throat as in the .410 chambers it means the bullet has to jump over an inch and still go through an oversize throat.

It's not a cure all, but offering a spare cylinder would be an improvement of accuracy and velocity with .45 Colt while keeping the option for using .410 is still there, just in a different cylinder, which would also still be able to shoot .45 Colt.

Agree. Constant battle with Taurus service dept about the leading crazy guns. That’s the reason I have a 45 Colt only barrel for my Contender along with the45/410.

Taurus service dept isn't going to do anything to make you a Judge with smaller throats, that's something you have to write a letter to an executive to complain about to raise awareness.

Idk why the Judge can't have smaller throats, I can't see it causing an issue with the .410, but if the throats were the proper diameter for .45 Colt it would make them more accurate.

The dual cylinder .45 Colt only would be better still.

Got a Governor for snakes at camp; a shotgun is really the best poisonous snake medicine, but a lot to carry. Too, it would spook the flatlanders on the bike trail... :(
In any case, the .410s through a rifled barrel were a huge disappointment; there was a huge donut hole in the pattern at 12 feet. Have to think that a longer barrel would make that situation worse.
Now, if we're talking about a defensive gun, with somewhat larger shot, that is a different matter.
It would require a longer cylinder in a SAA.
