Anybody have any experience with Military Heritage and their flintlocks? The prices seem good but they come with unvented barrels (for shipping purposes) and some internet reviews say they have teak wood stocks, are made in India and stay away!

Just like the products of Middlesex Village, Loyalist Arms, etc., the guns of this outfit are made in India (or Pakistan) and are of dubious quality. It's a false economy to buy these. Get a decent Italian reproduction.

I would get a Pedersoli, Lyman, or Traditions. The Indian guns aren't well thought of and are not proofed.
