Writer (Naval warfare administrator) as a trade during normal duties.
When ship/submarine is on red-alert, I am a warfare coordinator and Im expected to assist in helping in other departments, if there is a shortage of personnel, for those positions, during active-combat.

68J Aircraft Armament/Fire Control Repairer (AH-1). Later transitioned to AH-64 and OH-58D.

Still currently working the '64 and '58D as a contractor.

Waiting for the replacement for the OH-58D to come on-line. :)

Father is in Fleet Reserve, retired CPO. Retired off the USS Orion.
Brother retired CW4, Apache MTFE/SP. Flies Apaches in the UAE.
I'm retired LTC, Cobras, 58s and Hueys. Piddled around Mosul and Balad courtesy of my current defense contract.
Nothin' like wearin' Birkenstocks, an ol' Russian belt buckle and a Rolex!
