Mini 14 questions

Hey folks from a newbie,

I was thinking of getting the Mini-14 as a "fun gun" for doing plinking and such and so I have some questions.

1. Exactly how bad is the precision? How far away can you do headshots on a paper target reliably? 50 yards?
2. Will the Muzzelite bullpup thing work with high-capacity mags? Like the one with 90 rounds in it...
3. Can I put a laser and some optics on it? I've only seen the laser mounted on top, which won't work for me. Was thinking of something from Beamshot or Lasermax. Or maybe Surefire, dunno...
4. Is there a good recoil comp? Something like the Jet Comp. Ideally, I want to be able to shoot it one-handed in the dark (hence the laser).
5. Will it work with the Black Hills 75gr HP ammo?

hank 3 is awesome lol im a huge fan also!

anyways i had a stainless ranchrifle i bought it used for 400$ and it wasnt accurate at all! it would sling brass like a mile (which sucks when you are at the range and its banging the hell out of people 8 stalls down! lol), and it would get extremly hot very fast! that being said it would make a nice coyote rifle for short range if you needed a back up shot. or something just to waste ammo into whatever you find fun to shoot, (old cars, dirt etc.) would make a decent SHTF rifle although i would rather take an AK or SKS.
I never oiled the outside once and after about a 1 1/2 years it never ever rusted so i guess that is a good thing about the SS rifle lol.


i dont know alot about the new Mini's or if they improved on the accuracy of them or not.
