Mini 30 is home.

Nice. I’ve been eyeing a stainless Mini-30 at my LGS and am very tempted. I bought on when they first came out - 1990 or so? It ate all the cheap steel cased ammo I ever fed it. I traded it off a year or so after I got it; wish I held on to it. What’s the accuracy like on yours?

Took it to the range today. Im happy with it. I kept pulling shots to the right. Took a break and and shot my 9mm 1911 for a bit. Then came back to the mini 30. Finished zeroing the scope. Then shot some clays at the 100 yard line. And the brass fell next to me on the bench. I like that.
Shooting clays is too fun. What ammo were you using. Mine only likes ppu or a certain hand load. Been obsessed lately but I've got it now. This is the difference between one grain under and max plus a tad. 50 yds because it lessons disappointment. Ranch shoots whatever just fine.

My story , bought one when they were cheaper. Wasn't impressed. Years later traded for a new one. Just want it next to my bed. I love them now.

CFE BLK is readily available, not expensive, consistent and speedy. HDY spire points are great but getting higher than the eclipse.

I wish there was a red dot mount that clamps on like Ruger rings. My test scope clamps on for testing then off for open sights. Holds zero.

23 gr now we know why your brass barely clears.
