Thanks, I'll watch for them. Should be here in couple days if snow don't hold them up, we just 200 miles north of you. Trikerider

So- I order at about 10 PM Friday, get a phone call Saturday at about 10 AM offering a $15 discount on shipping and when I get home today, my bullets are here. My mail comes at 12 noonish. That means my order took less than 70 hours from start to finish. No loose bullets. No damaged bullets. Thank you Missouri Bullets.

Bad on me. I ordered and did not ask for a discount. Now, I'd like to order again. I don't know how to do the discount over the Gore World Wide Web.

How do you get it done?

Thanks,

salty

This is a great company! I ordered 1,000 .358 Striker 180gr and within 15 minutes my order was shown shipped. I live in Washington state and my order was here in three days total! That is excellent work. I will buy again.

saltydog, select your bullet type/quanty and at the bottom of the order page, type in THR-Original in the "Apply code" box just above the "Checkout" button. Then click the "Apply code".

Most companies I've dealt with in the reloading industry have been top notch. Missouri Bullet is no exception and has some of the fastest processing and shipping I have ever seen. Just outstanding service and the prices of his bullets are a bargain.

Something that we think is kind of funny is that we're normally all caught up on shipping every day by 2:30 or so. The mail truck doesn't arrive until 3:25 so Jo Ann and I are just hanging out in the shipping department listening to Fox News on XM at that time, waiting for last-minute orders. When the phone rings or an order comes in from the website, the order confirmation goes out automatically upon receipt of payment and then we see how fast we can get the order packed, labeled, and the shipment confirmation button clicked. Sometimes it's like 90 seconds after we got the order and credit card payment and we always wonder what the customer thinks when he gets 1.) his order confirmation email and ninety seconds later, 2.) his shipping confirmation. Jo Ann's theory is that the customer thinks we're lying :)

My wife always prefers to call in as she says Jo Ann is about the nicest person she ever speaks with on the phone. :)

I just bought 500, 158 gr SWC for 38 special a week ago from them, wished I'd bought another 500. Now will have to place another order sooner and another shipping. Could have got 2000 for same shipping as 500. Live and learn. Anyway, they get all my cast business from now on. My usage is very small, but I will be buying from them. Besides that, they only 200 miles from me, so not to long in shipment. Trikerider

I'm about 2/3 gone in my stash of 200 SWC so I called yesterday afternoon and placed an order voice. (I think my computer may have been compromised, so I don't do credit card/banking over the 'net.)

By the time I had finished that cup of coffee, and was sipping on the next, an acknowledgement of the order and notice of shipment appeared in my mail box.

Promptness and price are kinda important, but not as important as quality.

So far, it seems like that the folks at Mo bullets have all three nailed down flat.

Having an honest-to-goodness-real-live-person-with-a-smile-in her-voice
answer the phone is like gravy on the potatoes.

I also like the using the land line route. More for the asking of questions when I order than any other reason but these folks are the tops.:D

Brad, those 148 DEWC are super accurate in my Blackhawk. Seems the guys think I have figured out how to cheat on my targets. Go figure.:banghead: Guess I'll have to break down and tell them where I got the bullets from.:scrutiny:

yall talk me into it; Im trying some MB bullets,I just ordered some 40 cal, 44 kth, and some 500 crushers. Just a few minutes ago.

You will enjoy them. I ordered some on a whim a few years back, and they have gotten every single dime of my lead bullet business since then. I would guess that I have turned at least a dozen or more heavy reloaders into full time Missouri Bullet customers. I have yet to see an example of bad product or service from Missouri Bullet, I think that Brad and his bunch are too meticulous for that to happen.

i wish i would have known that you could add a sample pack onto any fullsize order. i would have liked to get a sample of the semi-wad cutters.

oh well, guess i need to make another order! ;)

It's in the FAQ, which I recommend our customers at least glance at -

http://www.missouribullet.com/faq.php

Do you offer Sample Packs?
Yes, we do. However, we ask that you place a regular order along with your order for a sample pack. If the sample pack bullets aren't readily available you will receive your shipment minus the sample pack. We don't want to hold up your order for just a sample pack. If the sample pack is omitted from your order, you will be refunded the price of the sample pack.

I ordered some on Friday night and got them at noon on Tuesday. Internet shopping at it's finest!

I like em. 200 grain semi wad cutter. fired some in my new 45. it ate them like candy. And darn fime grouping too.
Next orfer will be for more 45

Bought a test batch of 500 .45 185gr SWC which shipped quickly. This afternoon I loaded 50 of them. At the range every round went exactly where I was expecting although I was only shooting at 10 yards as accuracy was not my main concern.

I had 1 FTE out of my Kimber Custom Target II but I'm almost certain it was due to the ridiculously light powder charge I was using.

Some nitpicking:
I've run into 3 issues so far although admittedly I'm not much worried about any of them.

The most frequent problem I've found is a partial absence of lube. Maybe one in every 5 is missing more than 20% of the lube. We've had below freezing temperatures in my area and the package was subjected to them for a few days. I can't help but wonder if that may have something to do with it. Not a big deal at all.

Maybe 1 every 25 bullets appears to be missing almost all of its lube. Again, not a huge deal. See above.

Then there's what I assume are leftovers from the cast at the bottom of the bullet as pictured below. Looks like about 1 in every 25 has this problem. These were a little bit harder to seat but still seemed to shoot fine. If I were more concerned about this I could have remedied it with a pocket knife. This raises some concerns about potential accuracy problems but I didn't buy these things for accuracy in the first place. Also as I mentioned before, they did nothing but make a hole a little larger than a quarter at 10 yards so it may be all about nothing.

None of those issues are severe enough and frequent enough to steer me away. If the next 450 rounds go smoothly as I expect they will, I will be purchasing more. I'm happy with the value at $34.50 a box + shipping per 500. I think I'll try the BHN 12 stuff.

Those are some of the roughest bullets I have seen. I can't see that they would do well at 25 and 50 yards. It would be good if you could test at those distances and report back.

I don't believe I've ever found a box of cast bullets from any maker where the lube was perfectly intact and uniform on every bullet. I've never considered that a problem and load them all regardless. But I only shoot 8-12 thousand a year, so I may eventually run into some difficulty with that if I start shooting a lot.

But I wouldn't count on it. :)
