Zac at this website could use some help. He needs to restore the SQL database. Anyone that could help him, please let him know. TIA

Ok, so I'm still working on this.

The good news is that I got the forum software to work again and all is peachy.

The bad news is that I'm trying to re-upload the sql database that I backed up and I'm having
problems getting it back to where it needs to go....you see....its kinda big.

Without the database...the 1200 plus members will all have to re-register and all postings will be gone.

If anyone knows anything about MySql databases, please get in contact with me. I have a few more options to try but then I don't know what
to do next.

That ain't no joke. I'm almost twitchy from withdrawl and when the thought of loosing my post count hit...........I almost took up drinking. (well not really)

I am glad Zac has got a handle on this.

Glad to hear it (hopefully) is getting resolved successfully.

I've worried about it, but I know nothing about databases. What little work I've done with them and restores amounted to putting the tapes in the machine, restoring, then calling the DBA to take it from there...
