The Gunstop moved from their Excelsior location, to a location in Minnetonka. At the corner of Excelsior Blvd and Woodhill Rd. This is near the corner of Hennepin Cty 4 (Eden Prairie Rd.) and Excelsior Blvd. This is north off the Crosstown west of 494! It is a strip mall with a Driskoll's Grocery Store as the anchor store nearest the road. They are not settled in yet!

Oooh, closer to home now. I like those guys, they have never given me any lines of BS when doing buisness with them, and the prices are pretty good.

P0832177: any idea what the store hours will be? Open on Sunday? Now that I've got my press set up again, I need some supplies and can hardly wait to get up that way again. By the way guys, Gunstop is the best place to get reloading stuff in the Twin Cities, IMO. :) Plus, they're a Dillon dealer.

Hmmm, I had finally made the effort to figure out where their old store was and now they've moved.

Thanks for the info...I've purchased a couple of firearms from them and have been very happy.

Quick story: I recently went in to make a trade. We had the usual give and take where they say "what do you need to get for it?" and I say "what do you think it's worth?" Finally I allow that I hope to get X for it. Their response: "No, it's worth way more than that. We'll give you Y." Which was way more than I'd hoped for. How often does that happen?

Glad they have the new location, I go that way often.

I was thinking, "oh, great, another set of directions I won't be able to remember". I was always having a problem finding the Gunstop. These directions look easy to remember.

I'll be heading into the Cities from the west twice in the next month or so. I might just have to stop by.

Wow! Just stopped in yesterday for the first time.

Looks like they're not quite settled in yet -- still a lot of boxes piled in the corners.

They have a HUGE number of long guns and a pretty good selection of pistols as well. In fact, there are so many gun racks in the place that there's hardly room to stand!

My overwhelming impression is, "So THIS is what a gun store is supposed to be like!"

The guys were friendly and attentive, joking around with me along with the shop regulars. While I was there, their pizza delivery arrived, and darned if they didn't invite me and teh other customers to have a slice or two!

And the prices looked darned good.

I will be back!

Matt

P.S. Is there a law that each gun shop must have at least one dog? :)
