Model 10 with 5 inch barrel serial numbers

Hello All,

New member and fan of the Smith and Wesson Model 10. I am looking at two Model 10s and need to see if they are Curio and Relic. The first is D2693XX and the other is D5088XX. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

D1 – D90,000…………….....1968

D90,001 – D330,000……..1969 -70

D330,001 – D420,000………1971 – Early 72

D420,001 – D510,000………Late 1972 – Early 73

Just so you know, in the future you should put these requested in the "Identity and Date of Manufacture of S&W Revolvers" thread at the top of this forum. Even though you got a fast answer this time you have a better chance of getting an answer in that thread.

Sounds like you have some very nice revolvers there. Can you post pics? We just love pics lol.
