Allow me to introduce Bad Janet, my model 27 project.
i bought this model 27 Classic for less than $500 used. The bluing was not great. I removed all the old bluing, polished the steel to a mirror finish, and reblued it - twice. I wasn’t pleased with either effort.
I finally decided to try midnight blue Cerakote. It came out pretty good. I was afraid the reflex sight would look silly on this revolver but I think it works with the Cerakote finish. The grip panels are Roper target from Altamont. Red dot mount by EGW.
So, for about the price of the same gun new I have a tacticool .357. Did I mention she’s accurate as all get out?
