As most know the S&W Model 64 is the stainless steel version of the Model 10.

I happen to be a real big fan of these K frames, and forever have recommended Used Police Trade-Ins as firearms to folks, especially Model 10s and 64s.
Additionally, I am a huge believer in the 3" K frames .

I have had a 3" Model 64 RB HB for a long long time...this one is off site, taking a well deserved rest. Oh the gun is still in tip-top shop, just time to rest along with a few other sentimental pieces

Now as some know I associate with tight knit bunch of folks, including kids.
I also have access to some firearms, and just grab what wanted and use as needed, including a 3" Model 64, RB HB, just like mine.

I am a firm believer in folks actually shooting a variety of guns, to see what fits them best. Naturally K frames are one I highly recommend.

Mr. Stephen Camp,
Yes our own well respected own, is going to get part of the blame of me getting busted.
Err...I need a scapegoat. :D

Mr. Camp wrote an excellent review of the Model 64, with his excellent pictures.
Well a long time ago I shared Mr. Camps site with this bunch, and even the kids get a real kick out seeing the pictures, and reading, being read the review.

"Look mom! We shot that gun!" is not uncommon to be shared seeing Mr. Camp's site.

Seems *somehow* a number of these folks have some of the same guns as shared on his site, including the Model 64.
Just one of the guns I have brought out for folks to shoot to access for them if it will work for them.

I am also "charged" with spoiling kids rotten by allowing them to shoot primer only cases and Speer Plastic Training Bullets.

I mean even a 4 y/o girl can shoot a one ragged hole with a Model 64 with primer only cases. ;)
She even picked up one is supposed to "sign and write on target".
She signed her name, and added a stick drawing of a doggie. :D

Mr. Camp if you have noticed does not do stick figures of doggies...maybe he should consider this...

So there I was, outnumbered by all these folks, and kids. My Lady friend present, we had finished a snack, shooting the breeze, messing with the Black Lab, and out of the blue...

"It was pretty neat shooting a Model 64 today, I wonder where Steve got the idea to bring that gun out".

"Oh I bet the Model 64 being a stainless version of the Model 10 is the reason, you know how the boy likes the Model 10"

*bark* *woof* *woof* *bark* - Black Lab chimes in , with his handsome pose and just a grinning.

I was trying to quiet the dawg, as I can speak dawg.
Lady Friend's dawg and she too can speak dawg.

"Oh Steve has had a Model 64 forever, he just never said he did". -Lady friend Interpreting the Black Lab shared.

"Get him!"

They sic-ed the kids on me, then the Black Lab joined in...there I was overwhelmed, on the floor and lady friend, other ladies, guys, even a grandpa just sitting there, laughing, egging the kids on.
"Get him good and we will go to that place you kids want to eat at"

"Oomph!"

Thanks a lot Mr. Camp. You and dad-burned Excellent Reviews and Pictures got me busted...;)

*bark, bark, bark* *woof*

Great idea!

Black Lab says I need to get Mr. Camp into 28 gauge shotguns. This way I can *paw* off some of the blame I get onto him.

Dang. That Lab is sure smart!

Mr. Camp, this Wild Bunch says thanks.
*woof*

Oh, yeah, the Lab too...

:D
