I am wanting to get a pistol that holds 25-30 for fun at the range. Don't like 9mm and was wondering if it's possible to modify a Glock 33 round mag to feed 40 reliably. Anyone know of folks who can do this work? I'm not a big Glock fan for carry but a 30 round Glock 23 would be loads of fun at the range.

Won't cost you much to buy a 33-rd. G18 mag and find out for yourself. The Scherer mags in no way compare to real Glock mags. Feed lip separation specs are available on Custom Glock Racing's website. Open up the feed lips to .40 specs and have at it. You might also consider the use of a .40 follower.

Yeah I'm not feeling the Scherer stuff. Not downing anyone who has them. I'd just rather not. I'll check out that web site.
