Money Bomb is great idea.

Can we go Just One Step Farther?

Whatever we can save up, can we do JUST ONE MORE DOLLAR?

If you can only give $1, is there any way to save and give just $1 more?

If giving $20, can you save up $1 more and give $21?

Whatever we can do, however, is fantastic.

Just a thought: Even if we raise $500,000,000 I seriously doubt the big media will mention a thing.

I think it is midway, but one of the online vendors I use a lot has a "round up" option on the checkout, the change goes to the NRA.
 
I'm a life member, and it's on my calendar to send something on the 24th. While the MSM won't report this, it's not a bad idea for us to let our representatives know the support the NRA has, and that we are paying attention to the way they vote on what's becoming an epidemic of anti 2A bills throughout the country.

I'm a life member on the Easy Payment plan. I've never been particularly flush so that is the only way I could do it.

I am on a fixed income, but I had a surprise dividend that I'll be using to send $25 or $50 to the NRA, the SAF, the RNC and maybe one or two others.

I am in the process of letting those companies and orgainzations who have broken with the NRA that I do not support their having helped stigmatize those of us who enjoy shooting sports and cannot be a customer. REI just got a note.

Okay, this would be really funny if NRA members and others all gave anti gun organizations multiple memberships all on 3-24. THAT might get some press. Maybe CNN among them?
 
I'm sure someone will gently correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe that while upgrading your membership is a fine thing in its own right, only contributions to the NRA-ILA branch can be used for political / legislative purposes.

You are correct. Your membership bolsters the ranks & NRA-ILA donations funds political action.
 
I just had a thought...

How are we to know exactly how much dineros actually donated after the Washington DC tide pods fiasco? Is the NRA keeping a weekend tally or something
 
The point of a "money bomb" is to make a coordinated effort on a specific day so it can be measured and seen as a spike in response to the intent.

Set your phones or even use your browser calendar function to set a reminder to make that contribution on the 24th. I like the irony of using the Google Calendar to remind me to make that contribution tomorrow (considering Google/YouTube's decision to restrict legal firearm information content on YouTube).
 
I'm ready for tomorrow with another $25 and I already sent $25 to SAF on top of $25 I sent to NRA/ILA earlier this month. Send what you can. I understand money can be a big issue for many folks but every dollar counts. I figure for one box(20-25 rounds) of premium JHP I can afford not to buy some and use that money to fill NRA/ILA legal piggy bank. Use the NRA round up and add a buck whenever you can.
 
5 million NRA members in a country of 325 million people and an estimated 280 million guns? It goes to show, the NRA should have, at least, 20 million members in USA.
I’m a proud NRA member. I even contribute to ILA but we should be much, much stronger.
 
I haven't found accurate figures on the number of NRA members. There are some articles by anti gunners going nuts trying to read the tea leaves to find out.

We of the NRA need to work on beating propaganda as many people are self excluding based, I think, on the propaganda image of the NRA being racist, homophobe and all. I make a point of using non white or female reps in my social media postings.
