With busy schedules who has time to go to the dojo or other training venues once or more each week? Are you serious about defending yourself? If so, can you make between two and four hours once a month to learn how to protect yourself and/or your loved ones?

The number one issue with “normal” training courses on the weekends is that they only happen once or twice a year. You only receive instruction once or twice so; you have to learn all you can in that day or two of training. You are left wondering if you are doing things right when you are at home or on the range training. One advantage to this training opportunity is that you get hands on instruction and feedback at minimal once a month.

This group will cover empty hand self defense, defensive knife, as well as inert pistol training for concealed carry purposes, gun disarms, and gun retention, to name a few. Maybe you are only interested in certain things so Innovative Tactical Concepts will post a schedule of the topics to be covered each course. Each class will cover a minimum of two blocks of information. For example, one course will cover unarmed combatives for two hours and then we would cover concealed carry for two hours. You can come or leave whenever you like but the price is still the same. So, if you are only interested in the concealed carry portion of the course you can come just for that two hours but will still pay the same price as you would for the entire four hours of instruction. However, we may cover three different topics in a four hour block on instruction. The great thing about this training system is that you are literally learning one way to defend yourself. Our system is to date the only system that truly seamlessly integrates unarmed self defense with the use of a handgun and/or knife. There is a huge disconnect between concealed handgun training for self defense purposes and empty hand skills. For the most part you shouldn’t do “one thing” if you have a gun and “another thing” if you don’t have a gun.

One of the most important things you can do is to learn how to protect yourself unarmed. So, with that in mind, more than likely every class will cover empty hand skills. In fact, we believe that your unarmed skills are far more important than your shooting skills.

In addition, we will take suggestions on whatever the group wants to cover. If you are looking for something “flashy” then this isn’t for you. For those of you who are looking for effective self defense training, then this training venue is something that you cannot afford to miss.

Individuals who are seeking “rank” need not bother with this course. Only those who care about what works in a real life situation need attend. What works in the dojo doesn’t always or even often work on the street. Our techniques are simple to learn and are very effective against an attacker of any size or strength. Gender does not matter, nor does size or age. If you are able to walk then we can teach you how to effectively defend yourself. This is not sport oriented and you don’t have to be “in shape” to attend this training.

We are committed to providing quality professional reality based training for self defense purposes at an affordable price. The training group will meet once a month or twice a month depending upon the response we receive. If you can’t set aside 4 hours once a month to train, then you can’t be serious about self preservation! We are trying to take every possible excuse away from you other than pure laziness. We are bringing the training to a location near you, and the price is VERY affordable! The cost is a mere $50 per month.

As with all training venues, we will train rain or shine (the course will be outside). You don’t get to pick your battlefield! If we have enough interest (people who are willing to commit), we are looking to start this group in July. When enough interest is generated, we will set up a link on our website in order to register each month. We will need a minimum of 20 people per month to make this venue happen on a regular basis. Your life is worth investing a mere four hours a month isn’t it?

Some people may not be familiar with our training or have heard about us but have not yet trained with us for “some reason”. Well, here is your chance to see what we are all about!

Dayton: Saturday mornings from 8am to 12pm

Cincinnati: Saturday mornings from 8am to 12pm

Columbus: Saturday evenings from 4pm to 8pm

Cincinnati training and Columbus classes will be on the same day.

Cleveland: Sunday mornings from 8am to 12pm.

Toledo: Sunday evenings from 4pm to 8pm.

Cleveland and Toledo classes will be on the same day and ideally on the same weekends as the Cincinnati and Columbus classes.

Dayton classes will be on a different Saturday than the Columbus and Cincinnati classes.

These are the ideal days and times for us. However, we are open to suggestions from those who are SERIOUS about attending this venue on a regular basis.

Locations in each city TBA.

Please PM me or send me an email if you have any questions.

Train hard, train often, and most of all, train realistically!

Here are some of the things that we will be doing in the monthly training classes. We aren’t going to make a martial artist out of you, but we will teach you to defend yourself effectively while keeping things simple.
