Has anyone had a j-frame machined to use full moonclips?

I know Clark and others will do it -- I am wondering how well it works on these small guns. I love my 625. I know the small rounds don't drop in quite like the big bore rounds, but isn't it faster than a speedloader? Maybe even more importantly, I would think it aids in ejecting the spent rounds reliably.

Looking for your experiences -- good or bad.

Also -- I assume that only a steel cylinder can be cut for moonclips and not a titanium cylinder?

Thanks for any info.

You can find links to shops who do the cylinder machining at moonclips.com.

I had a 66 moonclipped by one of those recommendations, Pinnacle Custom Guns in PA, and they did an excellent job.

My 940 is a factroy 9mm and If I do get the 940 cylinder for my 60 I will get Pinnacle Custom Guns in Kempton, PA they are listed on Moonclips.com to fit it. I had The Handgunner in Topton do my 586 and it is a little rough. I might try The Village Arms in Gap also.
