I was watching MSNBC for a second today. There was a female anchor on talking about the Santa Monica shooting. Then she went into some shootings that happened in of all places Chicago over the weekend. After that she brought up a 4yr old boy getting his dads pistol and killing him(dad who was a green beret Iraq vet) with it on accident.

So that was the primer for her plea for UBC's to be legislated into existence. She had some yokel on there from MAIG and the mayor of Atlanta as guests. They went on and on about how all of this nonsense could have been prevented with more stringent gun control laws and UBC's. She brought up that Biden sent out an email to the congress critters in order to rekindle the unsuccessful spark of anti gun legislation.

Well of course I don't see any relevance in what her agenda is and what has happened recently. Once again UBC's wouldn't have prevented any of this stuff. How do you get a 4 yr old to submit a bg check before he stumbles onto his dads loaded gun? I just don't get it guys. She went on to spew the 90% number and how the gov isn't doing the will of the 90% of is citizens.

Even if this figure were true, which most serious researchers deny, the Constitution has no provision for a majority of citizens to vote away the rights of a single person.

We should stop pussy-footing around about RKBA. I recommend this: encourage our legislators to either support a constitutional amendment repealing 2A or to shut up about gun control. News people? We should pressure them to choose sides, too.

After all, that's what most anti's really want and don't have the spine to say.

Just a quick FYI on the 4 year old. It wasn't his dads gun. He was with his dad who made an unplanned visit to a buddy's house here in Prescott Valley, AZ. The gun was his buddy's that the kid found.
