This is the basic LePage Target model .44 cal. It has a set trigger which is pretty necessary for decent shooting as the trigger pull unset is at about six and a half pounds. I have read posts by English match shooters complaining that the pistol is liable to discharge with the trigger set. This is thecase with this one. I have degreased, heated and loctited the set trigger adjustment screw and will evaluate whether or not it is safe to continue using the pistol
I fired all of these rounds at five yard increment from 25 to fifty yards and did not loose it until I had reached 50 yards.
The sights are very visible on this gun but my vision has deteriorated to the point that I have difficulty seeing them against a black target. The 60 foot string actually improved after I had yellowed up the center of the target.
