Yahoo/ABC seems to be trying to keep the gun issue at the top of their agenda with headlines such as "Bloomberg: I can outspend the NRA". All while pumping gun makers with a ton of capital so they can pour it into R&D so they can make us some cool products.

I can't wait until a legitimate journalist hits him with; "Mr.bloomberg, you spend such great amounts of money trying to illegalize guns, yet you also spend a great deal of money to keep people with guns around you, so my question is...."

i watched the interview: Nothing earthshaking . Bloomberg talked to issues including smoking, sugary drinks, obesity and education. Bloomberg did confirm the fact that he could outspend the NRA. Nothing new here, we've known that for a long time.

And he said he was still hopeful that Congress would approve new gun regulations, including background checks on the sales of firearms at gun shows. “One hundred percent convinced,” Bloomberg said, adding that he plans to be very active in backing candidates who support new gun laws during the upcoming midterm elections.

Asked if he could outspend the National Rifle Association and other opponents of gun control measures, Bloomberg casually replied, “Oh sure.” But then added, “I’m not the only funder of this.”
