Handled one at a Cabela's today with a vintage 4x scope, what a neat old rifle. Love the Planet of the Apes feel it it.

Does anyone have one? Pics and stories if you do? How do they shoot?

Nice old rifles and accurate. I have a couple M51 and a bunch of 151/152s. It's recommended to stay with standard velocity ammo of the 50/51 series rifles due to the way the receiver plug is retained with the 2 "hooks". THe later 150/151/152 series plug threaded in. Theres a lot of info on them but too much to try and post here. Check out the Mossberg forum at RFC. It should have 3 sights on it. They are not cheap to replace.
