I recently bought a mossberg 590 after discovering, much to my delight, that its stock had a little bit of cast off (stock bent to the right to fit a right-handed shooter) to it. I wouldn't normally buy such a gun, but this one fit me so well I couldn't pass it up. I was surprised that such a cheap gun would have cast, but then I got to thinking, maybe it wasn't intentional! Maybe the stock was meant to be straight and just happened to be warped.
Anybody else have a 590, and if so, is your stock cast off?
