A friend of mine bought a Mossberg 590 20" with the factory ghost ring sights this year with his income tax return but has since ran into hard times and decided to sell his shotgun. He was lamenting to me about how he hates giving it up as it was the first 4473 he filled out, but he has a toddler and duty calls. As I can fondly remember my first 4473, and being the pal that I am, I bought it off of him on the condition that I would keep it around and make sure it didn't collect too much dust, and would sell it back to him if his monetary situation improved. Having a kid around the house, he managed to hang on to the cable lock, but lost the owners manual. I looked up the manual online, but the instructions for adjusting the ghost ring sights are vague:

http://www.mossbergs.com/manuals/500_835_590_535_en.pdf pp. 14.

As soon as I can collect an adequate amount of slugs, I wanted to sight this thing in. Rather than trial and error, I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to enlighten me which direction does which and how much? Rotating the elevation knob clockwise moves the point of impact up, or down, and one click is about how many MOA? Same with the windage...it doesn't look like the screw has clicks, but how far and in what direct could I expect say, a quarter turn clockwise to move point of impact?
