Mossberg 590A1 recoil pad

Hi. Ive decided to go with either a limbsaver or an xcoil. Leaning more towards a limbsaver. I went to the website but I have no idea which pad is for my gun. Im having a hard time navigating through the website. Can anyone please give me a link of a limbsaver or an xcoil that is made for my gun? I heard you can just unscrew the stock pads and screw in the limbsaver. Is this correct?

In theory you can just bolt them on. In practice sometimes it works. Limbsaver offers two Mossberg synthetic stock pads:

Recoil Pad-Moss All 4 7/8" Synthetic
SKU: 10121

Recoil Pad-Moss All 5 3/16" Synthetic
SKU: 10201

I don't know which is intended for a 590A1.

I've got LimbSavers on both my Mossies (500 & 835) and they work dandy. Just put several 2 oz turkey hammers through the 835 on Saturday and could still move on Sunday morning.

Yes, installation is just that simple. Only caveat is to put water (or spit) on your screwdriver tip as per the instructions to keep the pad from winding around the screwdriver.

Just measure your stock with the recoil pad removed . As Natman posted it'll likely be either of the two cited.
