It is a long embarrassing story but I need to find a new stock and forearm for my Mossy 930. I asked Mossberg but got no response -- nada. Any suggestions?

Try Mossberg again, and again, and again if necessary. Several years ago I bought a wood stocked 9200 used that had a split forend. Got the gun dirt cheap because of it. I contacted Mossberg about buying another. They told me to ship the broken forend to them and they would replace it free. They did, but I had to make several follow up calls to remind them to return my new forend after I shipped them my broken one.

They made it good, they just needed a little prodding.

*sigh* After a skeet session gun was leaning against the front of my truck. I was digging around in the cab for the case. I was backed in and had vehicles on both sides facing out. One guy there had an air-headed golden retriever puppy on a leash. Trying to light a cigarette he dropped the leash. Dog was running crazy and leash snagged my gun, drug it in front of a car leaving. Dog was well clear so guy kept driving, over the stock. It was pretty badly knackered but I tried to fix it and ended up totally screwing it up. Forearm is fine, action is still OK, stock is trash. I should have put the gun into the case and into the truck immediately or put it into one of the racks provided. My fault since the dog is an idiot and I knew it.:cuss:

Uh no. No pictures. The one I carry in my head is bad enough. I have other shotguns (favorite is my very old 870) so I have the 930 just buried at the back of my safe with the vague thought that I'll fix it someday and either use it or trade it (I rarely sell my guns, always a trade). Or, being a woodworker, I could always try my hand at making a stock if I can't find one.

Keep trying the Mossberg Customer Service # 1-800-363-3555

They've "contracted" their service out to their Maverick Arms division down in Texas....

Ask for Javier Contreras, he's taken care of me in the past.
