Please help. Sometimes my 500 will just dump the loaded shell onto the ground immediately after the action is closed. See, the shell does not load onto the carrier and.... bloop. The gun is clean and correctly assembled so ***? Thanks in advance.

Your problem is most likely in the cartridge stop/interruptor system. These are the control systems for the shell handling out of the magazine tube.
The left hand stop keeps the shell in the tube while the action is in the forward position , when the action is opened a small ramp on the action bar activates this stop and moves it out of the way enough to release the shell from the magazine as the action moves rearward toward the end of its travel .The right side shell stop is activated by a lug riding on the bolt carrier just after the release of the shell to prevent the second round from coming out of the magazine tube while the left side is still activated. (the right side prevents multiple feeds) It sounds as if your left side shell stop needs to be adjusted to proper function as it should be holding the shells in the magazine while the action is forward (assuming you have pushed the shell into the magazine far enough to go behond the shell stop.) The cartridge stops are called right and left as observed from the top with the firearm pointing away from you. (remember this when turning the gun over to observe their function)

Good Luck & if you need more help drop me an e-mail - I'll do what I can !

:D :D
