I'm sure that this has been beaten to death, but I searched, and couldn't find anything this direct.
I allowed for multiple choice, for auto/revolver or ties, but please don't pick all that apply, just your favorite one or two.
The reason for this poll is that I am swayed to the less common enthusiast calibers like .41 mag, and 10mm, and I'm wondering how many 'enthusiast' caliber lovers we have here, on THR.
I'll bet that it's waaay more than the general population.
To start it off, I chose 10mm in auto, and .41 mag for revolver.

For me, it is a “dead heat†tie between .357 magnum revolvers and .45 ACP semiautomatics:

.357 revolvers:
1. ’70 Smith P&R’ed 27-2
2. Ruger SP-101
3. Two S&W 627s
4. Two Ruger GP-100s

.45 ACP autoloaders:
1. Sig P-220
2. H&K USP Tactical
3. Glock 36
4. Three 1911A1s (‘30s GI Colt, Springfield TRP, Kimber Custom/Classic)

Regards to all -- Roy

I have four handguns in 9mm (K9, PT99, G19 & PT908), though it's not my favorite caliber.

I am a big fan of the .45acp, though only have two handguns chambered for it (first series Kimber Classic and, um... a Llama).

I am currently eyeing the 10mm as I am quite impressed by the ballistics of Winchester's 175gr Silvertip offering.
The only reason I have yet to own one is due to the horrible experience I've had with my .40S&W EAA Witness Compact (it doesn't work and three trips to the factory hasn't changed that). Otherwise, I would have snapped up a 10mm Witness fullsize in a heartbeat.

I voted for the .38 Special and 9mm as favorite cartridges although most of my revolvers are chambered for .357 I prefer shooting .38's through them.

9mm's:
Browning Hi-Power
S&W 5906
Beretta 92D Centurion

.357/.38's:
S&W Nickel 37 Airweight
S&W Nickel 4" 586
S&W 2 1/2" 66
S&W 640 .357 Centennial

9mmP for me, please! An almost infinite variety of makes and models from service-size to micro compacts and everywhere in between! Can be had in autos and revolvers and ammo can be found in every corner of the globe! It might not be the biggest bullet on the block but it has been getting the job done for over 100 years, and it can be had in this country mighty cheap! :D

Hmm, my favorite revolver round is a toss up between the .357 maggie & the .44 Special. I only have one .44 Special, so I picked .357 in realguns ;).

The .40 has both performance & capacity in a decent grip size & I voted .40 S&W in autoloaders. Other auto rounds are also good ;).......

9mms dominate my collection, followed closely by .380s, then .45s. Other calibers include .38, .44, .22, .25, 9x18 and .32. A .357 is next on the caliber list.

More .22 rimfire than anything else, .45 Colt and .357 Magnum tie.... it saves to reload!
